"I, myself, am strange and unusual."

Beetlejuice (1988)
Tim Burton is one cool cat. I'll just put the lyrics to Shake Senora instead of rambling:

Shake, shake, shake Senora, shake your body line
Shake, shake, shake Senora, shake it all the time
Work, work, work Senora, work your body line
Work, work, work Senora, work it all the time
My girl's name is Senora. I tell you friends I adore her.
When she dances oh, brother,
she's a hurricane in all kinds of weather.
Jump in the line rock your body in time.
O-kay! I believe you.
Jump in the line rock your body in time.
O-kay! I believe you.

Jump in the line rock your body in time.
O-kay! I believe you.
Jump in the line rock your body in time.
Oh!

End of the millennium yuppies move from NYC to a quaint town in Connecticut and what do they eat? Chinese takeout ("I plan to have a stroke from the amount of MSG that's in this food."), lots of fancy martinis, and glasses of wine after another and serve strange shrimp cocktails when guests come over for dinner. I love everything about this film from the soundtrack to the perfect casts (Alec, Geena, Catherine, Winona) and Burton's take on the afterlife and the sandworm and everything!!!!!!
