"They've got a cherry pie there that'll kill ya"

Twin Peaks (1990-1991) Part I

Great things Special Agent Cooper says about Great Food:
(aka Why Dale Cooper is the Best Human Ever)

To Diane: "Lunch was, uh, six dollars and thirty-one cents at the Lamplighter Inn, that's on Highway Two near Lewis Fork. That was a tuna fish sandwich on whole wheat, slice of cherry pie, and a cup of coffee. Damn good food. Diane, if you ever get up this way that cherry pie is worth a stop."

To Harry: "Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret: every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it; don't wait for it; just let it happen. It could be a new shirt in a men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black, coffee."

To Waitress: "You know, this is--excuse me--a damn fine cup of coffee. I've had I can't tell you how many cups of coffee in my life and this, this is one of the best. Now I'd like two eggs over hard. I know, don't tell me, it's hard on the arteries, but old habits die hard, just about as hard as I want those eggs. Bacon--super crispy. Almost burned. Cremated. That's great. And I'll have the grapefruit juice, just as long as those grapefruits are freshly squeezed."

Pete: "Mr. Cooper, how do you take it?"
Cooper: "Black as midnight on a moonless night."

To Waitress: "Trudy, two more cups of coffee please...Shortstack of griddlecakes, melted butter, maple syrup, lightly heated, and a slice of ham. Nothing beats the taste sensation when maple syrup collides with ham."
